time goes by…

It’s true. I do many things, I meet lots of new people, I face different situations. I like it! Actually, I love it!

So, after almost 20 days here, I like this place! I feel I’ m lucky!ย

For the last 5 days, I had been hosting 2 friends of mine. We hang around together, went sightseeing and partying, cool stuff!ย

Right now in our kitchen, there are more than 15 people. We had dinner! Nikolas, a Greek, has cooked plenty of pastitsio! And Pedro, a Brasilian, has cooked 45 coxinha! Now we are full!

It is nice to be an erasmus student in container K!!!

Kampsax vs Databar

Well, for all DTU erasmus exchange students these 2 words mean plenty of things. For those who just hear them for the first time:

Kampsax is a cafe-pub-club that every Thursday hosts the most successful party at the campus. I’ ve been there only once, cause I’ve been here since last Monday, but I really liked it! And when you have a great company, like I do, things are much better ๐Ÿ™‚

Databar are rooms with pc’s spread around the campus and dedicated to studying. They are open 24/7 and you enter with your student magnetic card. The fact that most of the Danish people talk to each other while studying is quite annoying. If you need silence, then you have to find an empty databar… Like this one.dscn76062

So, it is now made clear that the title of this post can be rewritten “Partying vs Studying”. The obvious answer is Kampsax! However, I am working on a project that requires studying ๐Ÿ™‚

Therefore, I try to spend my time doing both. What about you? What do you thing an erasmus student should do more?

first impressions

I’ ve been in Copenhagen for 7 hours and I really like it! I live with all the other exchange students of DTU at the campus village (pic), so we are all together! At my app there are 9 rooms and we all share the kitchen and the bath. My appmates are really cool, as all exchange students do! They have been very helpful and I can see that we will get on extremely well! 4 of them are Spanish, 2 Brazilians, 2 Greeks (including me) and 1 French. So, I will sure improve my spanish, cause you all know that my Portuguese are already excellent ๐Ÿ™‚

Keep up with my picks on flickr!

Hugs from chilly but refreshing Lyngby!

the best farewell party!

I am proud of my friends! Last night, in a 2-room app (ok, there was a backyard also), there were more than 65 people dancing, drinking and having fun! It was the best party I have ever hold! Thank you all for joining!

The thing is that now I don’t want to leave Athens, I’ ll miss all these great boys and girls… I wish you could all visit me in my new place, in Copenhagen! Kisses to all, rock on!

sterling went bankrupt

Sterling is no longer an airline company… No more cheap flights to Denmark ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

I have to mention though, that the way that they announced the bankruptcy is wrong. Check their homepage

Student trips !

In 2 weeks time I’ ll be in Copenhagen! Yeyyy!

These days I’m writing the report for my thesis. However, I am more interested in searching for student trips around Copenhagen!ย

Till now I have found theseย

www.scanbaltexperience.com

www.esn-copenhagen.dk

The last link is about Erasmus Student Network, it will be really helpful I think in terms of socialising there!

Anyone with more experience on that? Any suggestions? thanks!
